Pottery and Hobby Ceramics Class
Regular pottery class for people living locally, suitable for complete beginners or those with some experience. All the basic handbuilding skills are covered, and there are four electric wheels for throwing. If you would like to simply paint ready made bisque ware, you can do that too. The classes are small and friendly, with no more than eight in a class, but we need a minimum of five. Fees include tutoring and use of the facilities, but work is paid for when it is finished, by weight. You can join at any time, and you will need to pay for 5 classes in advance, whether you come to all of them or not. There is also now a wide range of bisque ware ready for you to paint. Visitors staying on site or holidaying in the area are welcome to join the class if there is space. You will only pay for one session, which will include materials and firing, but not postage if I need to post your work on to you after you leave.

Felt making workshop
Learn the technique of wet felting to create your own unique wall hanging (which could also be used at home as the front of a cushion or bag).Brilliantly coloured merino fleece is easy to felt, and gives great results in just one day. All you need is soap, water and elbow grease.

Bead Jewellery workshop
In the morning, make your own beads from colourful polymer clay - learn techniques such as marbling and millefiore. these will be baked ready for you to use in the afternoon in your own unique necklaces, earrings and bracelets - there are also many other exotic beads from around the world for you to choose from.

Crazy Mosaics Workshop.
this technique uses broken pottery and tiles, as well as found objects such as pebbles and shells, to create your own unique mosaic panel.

Glass Mosaics workshop
Make a mosaic panel, using glass mosaic tiles in glowing colours. learn how to design, and to cut and fix the tiles. You will also be gieven guidance on grouting your work at home once it is dry enough.
